Public Health Students Receive Awards at Annual Research Day April 29, 2014 More than 400 research abstracts from Drexel University students, faculty and staff were presented at this year’s annual Research Day, which was held at the Daskalakis Athletic Center earlier this month. Of all the submissions, 12 School of Public Health graduate students presented their research and two received awards. The School of Public Health award winners included second-year MPH student Pooja Rangan (advisors included Aroutis Foster and Jen Katz-Buonincontro), who presented “Playing to See: Developing the Keys to the Collection Digital Art Game,” in the education and outreach category. In addition, second-year MPH student Nicole Chisolm was honored in the translational and clinical category for her research “The Philadelphia Fetal Infant Mortality Review (FIMR)/HIV Prevention Methodology Project ” (co-authors included Debra D’Allessandro, Kathleen Brady and Tina Penrose).
